Evodia is a world broken into fourteen nations. Each nation is the home to one of the fourteen races of Fortannis. On the western continent lie the nations of Esnal, Nyolume, Heliorinas, Huvaria of the Sylvanborn, Yresa, Thoinia and the Isle of Metruk. In the northern seas lies the island nation of Estrana. To the east lies the countries of Igshnak, Krosra, Kierelluius, Yushien, Lannek, and Erabella. Each one of these nations is protected by a powerful guardian known as the Guardian Djinn.
Esnal is a caste based society of the Wylderkyn. The lowest caste is the invertebrates, above them the herbivores, above them are the carnivores, and finally the omnivores act as the ruling caste. Esnal is ruled by five great houses and seven lesser houses each in charge of certain parts of governance and culture.
Nyolume is the cursed lands of the Dryads. Due to the cursed nature of the land, magic is harder to cast and often scholars will find their spells take longer to cast or even find it impossible to summon the energy needed.
Heliorinas is the kingdom of the Dark Elves. Built under the shadow of the mountains, their kingdom is built on the passions of their people. Each Dark Elf finds a field in which they devote themselves fully. They have a close relationship with the Wylderkyn of Esnal who act as migrant workers to fill the jobs where few Dark Elves have a passion for.
Huvaria is the chaotic nation of Sylvanborn. They are in a near constant state of revolution with one government being replaced by another every decade or so once the luster of the old government wears out and a new government forms.
Yresa is the nation of the Elves. It is a land covered in a great forest. The people of Yresa live in the moment and live life to the fullest. Youthful elves are known to travel to other lands but always return home once they reach their elder years.
Thoinia is the mercantile nation of Hoblings. A hoblings wealth is both a measure of skill and social standing. The High Ogres also call Thoinia home and work for the Hobling nations.
The Island of Metruk is the home of the High Ogres, however only the raceβs elders live there on a permanent basis. Once every few years all High Ogres return for a two week festival to celebrate their culture. Non-High Ogres cannot step foot on the island due to magics protecting it.
Estrana is an isolated island nation to the north of the other continents. It is ruled by the families of Selunari who call it home. The people all have a familiarity with magic due to the Arcane Wells that the powerful scholars of the Selunari fill with their own magic to allow all Selunari access to it.
Igshnak is the mountainous home of the High Orcs. Each tribe is ruled by the strongest of their warriors. The strongest tribe rules over the others.
Krosra is the home of the Dwarves. They are industrious people who care about the riches found from beneath rather than the lands of the surface. They are fine craftsmen at whatever trade they devote themselves to.
Kierellius is the land of the Stone Elves. All Stone Elves have ties to one of the nine great families, the Hunters, Masons, Wrights, Sawyers, Carters, Coopers, Weavers, Smiths, and Bakers. Each Stone Elf finds a place within the family business and devote themselves to the perfection of their job.
Yushien is the blighted lands of the Biata. The kingdom is plagued with the undead. The Biata do their best to contain the undead and safeguard their people. This however leads to rumors and stereotypes that the people of Yushien are all necromancers. Swarms of undead will spill over into other nations which unfortunately perpetuates the stereotype.
Lannek is the nation of Oathsworn. Their people are well versed in Celestial magic and create barriers against the Elemental Planes to maintain the tenets of the First Oath.
Erabella is the Human nation of Evodia. They slew their guardian Djinn during their civil war against the corrupt royal family. The adventurers from beyond the Mist first came here and have shaped much of its new history.
The world of Evodia has changed much since the arrival of adventurers from beyond the Mists. The human nation of Erabella slew their guardian Evoder during their civil war.
The new government of Erabella was challenged by the Oathsworn of Lannek for breaking their oath to Evoder by slaying him. Erabella was able to convince the Oathsworn of their honor by performing a ritual duel with one of Lannekβs champions. However the young nation was invaded by the treachery of the Hoblings of Thoinia who launched a surprise invasion during the aftermath of the honor duel with Lannek.
The year-long war that followed led to the repelling of Thoinian forces from Erabella. The adventurers have been integral to the new government of Erabella, and their actions have led the nation to become a prosperous country.
New threats have begun to rise. With the loss of their Djinn, Erabella has seen the reemergence of the Fey and their Wild Hunt. The mysterious Wraith Lord escaped its prison and is now working on plans secret and unknown. Most mysterious of all is the unknown culture of pre-Djinn cultures that seem to have ties to the great Dragons of Evodia.
At his request, Halvar has been Obliterated by the Sword of Evoder at the hands of the adventurers, and his spirit provided the necessary power to end Evoder's curse on Nyolume once and for all--the lands of the Dryads are saved!
Now, the adventurers plan their next move. Will you take up arms alongside them as they strike out seeking power and fame throughout the land?
